Although there are many great aspects of NBA 2K23 MyCAREER this year with 2k23 mt exciting missions like It's a Cole World, some players have been experiencing issues with a major bug.We had this problem in our own NBA 2K23 MyCAREER save, and it is apparent when you try to play your next NBA game causes an entire game freeze.
After trying a variety of approaches, we've come across the solution that was able to clear Our frozen MyCAREER save.It appears the issue here is connected to the clothes that MyPLAYER is wearing . The freeze happens right before the pre-game fashion walk triggers.Shop now: Officially licensed NBA Apparel & Gear at NBA Store.This glitch has occurred for players working on Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's unclear what's the culprit.
We spotted a few inventory items such as those seen in the photo below. They have signs with plus signs that suggest that they're a brand-related bonus, but are without the icon. Additionally, certain items linked to previous quests might have caused this.Before starting our next NBA match, we removed the following items:We aren't sure the item that caused the issue, however the Calloway's Court items seem most likely to be the culprit since they've most Recently been purchased.
If you're experiencing this issue engaged in Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests, we'd recommend taking all of them out after a game restart to see whether this can resolve the bug.For us, these removals allowed the game to be stopped from happening and allow that MyCAREER saves to continue playing without issue.2K should hopefully release an update soon with the ability to fix it permanently however, we hope this workaround can keep the issue at bay until that time.
